MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD

We, the Innovate Manhattan Charter School Board of Trustees, opened our doors in the historically innovative  Community School District 2 (CSD2) this past September. Complementing CSD 2's commitment to serving a diverse student population, we chose to base our school on the KED program, a model proven to be successful with students of varying ability levels and backgrounds. Selected for its close alignment with the board’s mission to empower students over their own learning, the KED program focuses on helping students progress at their own pace, while receiving personalized assistance and coaching to set and meet academic and personal goals. Cutting-edge curriculum, best instructional practices, hands-on learning experiences, advanced technologies, and creative use of space will give CSD 2 students the strategies, support, and resources to strive toward meeting and exceeding standards. As a board comprised of educators, business people and parents, we are proud that Innovate Manhattan Charter School has brought a new opportunity for CSD 2 students and families to get excited about learning.
